Camping Exploration of Kenya Tanzania

Kenya & Tanzania 21 Days Camping
Come and explore the beauty of these East African Countries. The Serengeti is exactly what everyone imagines Africa to Look like (thanks Disney). Other highlights include the Lakes of the Rift Valley, the picturesque shores of Lake Victoria and the tropical waters of the Indian Ocean.

Highlights of this trip:
Samburu National Reserve is a top tourist destination and there is plenty to see and do as far as wildlife is concerned. The area is inhabited by a wide variety of animals, more so the rare species such as the long- necked gerenuk, gravy's zebra, reticulated giraffe and Beisa oryx. Other animals include the leopard, the mighty lion, elephants, crocodiles can be seen swimming in the Ewaso Nyiro River along with the hippo. As the Samburu people are pastoralists, domestic animals such as goats, cattle and camels can be spotted within the Reserve's boundaries.
The area around Lake Naivasha was one of the first to be settled by white people and one of the hunting grounds of the hedonistic Happy Valley set. In fact Delamere Estates, originally owned by the eccentric Lord Delamere, surrounds the town. Today those champagne days are over and there is little of interest in the town. Most people just pass through on the way to Lake Naivasha, Hell's Gate National Park, Mt Longonot and Nakuru. It is also a good place to pick up supplies.
Serengeti safaris are perfect for vacations offering more activities and sights than any other park. If you are interested in archaeological finds then head to Olduvai Gorge where many of the world's most important archaeological discoveries were made. Go and soak up the scenery and see the 'Big Five' at Ngorongoro Crater, a World Heritage Site, where the world's largest intact volcanic caldera lies. With so much to do and see in the Serengeti, any one of the safaris you book is going to be fantastic.
