The world-renowned Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, this national park of nearly 2 million hectares, SANParks - Kruger National Park is unrivalled in the diversity of its life forms and a world leader in advanced environmental management techniques and policies.

Mlilwane nature reserve is located in the heart of the Kingdom of Swaziland. The nature reserve does not only offer you the opportunity to walk amongst the fauna and flora of the region but exposes you to the rich culture and history of the indigenous Swazi Tribe.

The Drakensberg Mountains of South Africa or uKhahlamba (the Barrier of Spears) is a 200-kilometre-long mountainous wonderland and world heritage site. The largest proportion of the South African component of this area falls in the kingdom of KwaZulu-Natal. The Amphitheatre will be one of the highlights of the tour.  

The Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho or the so called "Kingdom in the Sky", lies within the Lebombo mountains.  This scenic Basotho kingdom will challenge all hikers and riders on local Basotho Ponies. The country offers a very different tourism experience, with the potential of the tourism sector lying in its natural beauty, rich flora and fauna, and absorbing prehistoric and cultural Heritage. The appeal of this extraordinary country is rarely found in more commercialized destinations.

Normally Included:

  • All transport and transfers by Overland truck or minivan
  • Stay in twin share dome tents on campsites and stay in mixed dorm share hostels in Capetown,Stellenboch, St Lucia and Pretoria
  • All Park Entrance Fees ( Kruger, Mlilwane, Golden Gate, Addo, Tsitsikamma, Cape of Good Hope, Blyde River Canyon)
  • Use of all equipment (twin share dome tents, sleeping mattresses, cooking equipment etc.)
  • Afrikaans/English speaking tour leader/cook
  • Truck driver (will also operate as guide/cook if group is smaller than 10 persons)
  • Food kitty: three balance meals per day for the duration of the trip
