Our base in Nairobi, Kenya is situated in the quiet and tranquil Karen area on the outskirts of Nairobi. As we are not open to the general public (unless you are a tourist ) we do not have big signs at our entrance so please call or email ahead so that we can give you the directions. If you know Nairobi – we are just behind the Boma’s of Kenya, off Langata Road – 16 Muiri Lane.

It is a small but friendly home away from home for both overland crew and clients. We like to pride ourselves on the personal, relaxed atmosphere and safe environment that we worked so hard on to establish.

Our facilities can accommodate a maximum of four groups camping simultaneously. We have some twin rooms, double rooms and dorm rooms available. The kitchen provide special order meals as well as group lunches and dinners. There is a well stocked bar and soft drinks and snacks are available for purchase. Laundry and Vehicle cleaning is done onsight.

We have a fully operational workshop on site and secure storage for vehicles and equipment is available – ask for our long term rates.

The communal “family” room is fitted with a satelite television, pool table, some dvd’s and books for your pleasure. We also have high speed satelite linked internet and wifi available for those that want to check emails or do some work. As a value added service we have invested in a VOIP satelite linked telephone system that means you can call home or the office for much less!!

We have ample water storage to make sure we do not run out of the scarce commodity and also have a backup generator in case of electricity failures as the supply of these services are not so reliable in Nairobi. We have special rates for tour operators, crew and long term clients. Please enquire about these from camp@indabaea.com.

Our resident management couple, Eefje and Innocent Njenga, will be more than happy to assist you with any bookings or questions you might have.
